Q: Do I need to do anything
before you come?
A: Write down all the problems you have so we can discuss. Have all original
the CD's and software that came with your computer readily
available.
Q: Do you guarantee your work?
A: Yes. We guarantee that the work we perform will be to
your satisfaction based on the problems and solutions we agree upon.We guarantee that
viruses will be gone from the computer when we leave.
We can't guarantee that you will not get more
viruses or spyware after we leave. We have no control over what you may
download from the Internet, so we cannot guarantee that you will remain free
from viruses and spyware after we leave. If you keep your antivirus and
antispyware programs up to date and run scans regularly, you should be fine.
Q: What can you do about retreiving my documents, pictures, email, etc
if my system has crashed?
A: This depends on the problem to some extent. If you hard
drive had totally crashed, cost effective recovery may not be possible, but
we can usually retrieve most or all of your data.
Q: How long does a service call usually take?
A: Job length can vary, but the "average" job is usually 2
hours when done in our shop.
Q: Do you charge for travel
time?
A: Assuming you are in the Cary/Apex area, we do not usually
charge for travel.
Q: Can I bring my computer to you to have it
worked on?
A: Yes, absolutely. Please call us at 605-5366 and make
an appointment.
Q:
Might you have to reinstall my Windows?
A: It is sometimes easier and less costly to you to have us
retrieve your data and do a reinstall of the operating system. If your PC is in such bad shape that it needs to be
rebuilt, we'll need to wipe your system and reinstall Windows.
